Privacy notice (GDPR)
Last updated: 17 September 2026. This notice explains the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on transxperience.com under Art. 13 and 14 GDPR. Deutsche Fassung: Datenschutzerklärung. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is:
Projekt TransXperience
Stralauer Allee 13A
10245 Berlin, Germany
Email: project@transxperience.com
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you open the site, IONOS automatically processes technical access data (server log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to keep the site running. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).
3. Cookies & local storage
transxperience.com currently sets no analytics, marketing or tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts are loaded for advertising or statistics. On your first visit the cookie notice asks whether you accept optional cookies ("Accept") or decline them ("Reject"). Your choice is stored only in your browser's local storage (no cookie, nothing sent to us or to third parties) and decides whether non-essential cookies introduced in the future may be loaded at all (legal basis if you consent: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Since no such cookies exist today, your choice has no practical effect for now: the mechanism is in place in case that changes. You can change your choice at any time by deleting the local storage entry txp_cookie_consent_v1 in your browser settings, after which the notice appears again.
4. Newsletter / notifications
If you sign up for news or shop notifications, we process your email address for that purpose only. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, by contacting us by email.
5. Comments
If you send a message through a comment or feedback form on this site, we process the content of your message and any name or email address you choose to give, in order to read your message and reply if needed. To prevent abuse (rate limiting against automated submissions), your IP address is also processed for a short time. The legal basis is the consent you give by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Pre-orders & shipping
To handle a pre-order we process your name, email address, delivery address and country. These data are used solely to fulfil the contract (shipping your order). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps).
7. Payment processing: Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland. Your payment details (card data and similar) are sent directly to Stripe and are not stored on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy also applies: stripe.com/privacy. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
8. Recipients
Your data are shared only with service providers needed to run the website and the ordering process: hosting (IONOS), payment processing (Stripe) and, where applicable, shipping providers (delivery address). Your data are never sold or passed on for advertising.
9. Storage period
Order data are kept for the statutory retention periods (usually 6 to 10 years under the German Commercial Code and Fiscal Code, HGB/AO). Newsletter addresses are kept until you withdraw consent. Comments and feedback are kept until their purpose (handling your request) is fulfilled or you ask for deletion. Server log files are deleted automatically after a short time unless a security incident occurs.
10. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, write to project@transxperience.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
11. Changes to this notice
We update this privacy notice whenever our data processing changes. The version in force at the time of your visit applies.
